Sports

During the Prmary School years children are encouraged to have a wide and varied experience towards Physical Activity. Our Development Academy is designed to offer as many sports activities as we can facilitate making particular use of our local sporting contacts. Students are identified from school lessons and sporting profiles are developed for these children so we can target their needs where possible. At the moment we have a golf development academy and tennis lessons using the Grasshoppers Tennis Programme via Tennis NZ. In Term one we are also offering soccer lessons and a training skills programme from United Soccer. In Term 2 we will be working with Korbond North Harbour Rugny and setting up Rippa Rugby and Junior Tackle teams. We also facilitate School Hockey and Netball teams that take place outside of school hours. We want to offer as many children as possible a variety of experiences.
