School Uniform

Whenuapai School has a compulsory School Uniform which can be ordered and purchased through the School Uniform Shop in the hall foyer. The shop is open on Monday and Thursday mornings from 8.30 - 9.30am. It is essential that all uniform items are clearly named. The policy is that all children attending Whenuapai School will wear the correct uniform as decided upon by the Whenuapai School Board of Trustees and implemented by school management. This includes a school cap or hat to be worn in Terms 1 and 4, and black shoes with navy socks or black sandals. Pupils must bring a written note outlining why they are not wearing the correct uniform.

The sports uniform is required only if your child joins a school sports team.

Please note that the school uniform shop will only sell high quality second hand uniforms. Pre loved uniforms can also be advertised on the school website, containing contact details should you wish to make an inspection / purchase of the clothing. To advertise your uniform please give your name, contact details and description with /without a photo to the school office. Ensure you let the school know when the uniform has been sold so it can be removed from the website.

Make UpStudents are not allowed to wear any form of make-up (ex: foundation, eye liner, nail polish).
