Enrolment
The Board of Trustees operates a Ministry of Education approved Enrolment Scheme to prevent overcrowding, as the school receives more applications for enrolment than places available. The Scheme provides for automatic right of entry to those students who reside within the Whenuapai School zone.
Enrolments for all children are arranged through the school office. For the enrolment of New Entrants a birth certificate as verification of age and an immunisation certificate must be presented. Parents will be notified before the date of enrolment of two pre-school visits that will be available for them and their children to familiarise themselves with the class they will be joining and the simple routines.
Overseas students must provide a passport of documentation showing evidence of residency and an immunisation certificate for child who has recently arrived form overseas. Travel and medical insurance is essential for international students.
Information packs including apllication information and enrolment forms are available from the school office.
Located near the upper reaches of the Waitemata Harbour, around twenty minutes drive from central Auckland, Whenuapai is on the urban/ rural fringe. Whenuapai is close to Hobsonville Road. This provides easy connection with Waitakere City and North Shore City.
