Motat Trip
Motat...
On Tuesday the 18th of August rooms 8, 9 and 10 went to motat on a school trip. First we meet by the steam train .We meet a member of the Motat staff and she explained what we were going to do. We had to listen well. The lady took us to look at some old bikes on the way to the classroom. There was a bike with a really big wheel. It was called a Penny Farthing.
When we walked into the classroom there was a cool Lego fares wheel. It was really big and there were two of them. Then the lady told us to sit on the mat. She showed us some old and new things. There were new phones and old phones as well as some feathers and ink. We all got to write our names in ink the same way people did in the olden days. Some of us did more than five pictures.
After about half an hour we had a little time to study the old cars because our group had decided to study race cars. After a while we had to meet back at the train to eat some lunch. After lunch we got to have a little look round. The big train was popular so only 10 people were allowed on at a time. Our last stops of the day were the Challenge Room and the Tram. There were heaps of challenges to try and the Tram ride was a nice way to finish. It was awesome. We all lined up to go back to school and our teachers made sure we were all still there. We had a fun day at Motat.
