Art Gallery Trip

Our Art Gallery Trip... 

On May 13 we went to the Auckland Art Gallery. We saw lots and lots of paintings. We had to think about what symbols were in the pictures and what they meant. We looked at this painting of a man. We could tell that he used to fight because he had medals, and a sword from the queen.  

Before that we all got to make a picture. We cut out a symbol we made and out Blu Tack on the back to stick it to another piece if paper. After we had done that we made another symbol and rolled some paint out. We put paint on our other symbol and stuck it all over our page. At the end we pulled off the Blu Tack picture and stuck it on a wall to dry. It was fun.
