Kelly Sports...
On Friday August 14 teams 3 and 4 went to Kelly Sports in our school hall. There were lots of games to try. There was Clap ‘n’ Catch, Dribbling the Ball, Ten Pin Bowling, Fake Fishing and Rugby. First they showed us how it’s done and then we were split into groups of six. It was hard at the beginning for some people but we all got better.
In Clap ‘n’ Catch you had to throw the ball into the air and clap as much as you could before you had to catch it again. They told us that if we clapped more than 7 times we would beat the current record. Jacob from our class set a new record at this game. He clapped 8 times. Dribbling the Ball was easier. All you needed to do was dribble the ball to the cone, roll it down your back and stick your bottom out. Fake Fishing was cool because one person used a small fishing net to catch a ball being thrown at them. Ten Pin Bowling was a game where we had to roll a tennis ball into the hoop and make it stay there to score a strike. The last game was Rugby. In this game we had to take small steps, do a small kick, catch it and score a try. It was a lot of fun.
