Our Trip to Motat

Room 18 are studying Flight for Term 3's Topic. We went on a trip to Motat to find out some interesting information about flight. We caught the tram from Motat to the area where the planes were. We loved hearing about the seaplane that carried 45 passengers and cost each passenger 6 weeks worth of wages to buy a ticket. It was even more interesting when we found out that this plane was the only one of it's kind in the whole world! We got to make an aerofoil wing out of paper and fly it in a wind tunnel. It was really exciting and we learnt a lot. Check out our cool photos....
