We are a year 3 - 4 class and our teacher is Miss McIntyre.
Welcome to Term 3...
Our foci for Term 3 are...
Maths - Position and Turns (Week 1-3) and Fractions (Week 4-10)
Writing - Narratives
P.E. - In P.E. we will be developing our big ball skills and preparing for our Cross-country that is happening in Week 8.
Maori - We are learning all about Myths and Legends and how the Maori people used to pass them on from generation to generation.
Inquiry -
During our Inquiry sessions we will be learning about a variety of Mythical Creatures. We will be looking at Mythical Creatures from an Art perspective.
Art - Clay and Drawing
Reading - We will be learning a variety of Reading skills this term.
I.C.T -
As well as going to I.C.T classes with Mrs Corsan we will also be using
the two classroom computers daily as an integrated part of our
learning. Room 13 would especially like to thank Mr Johnson for
donating the two computers.
As
a class we are learning how to assess our own learning. We are learning
to identify our strengths and weaknesses, set goals and create our own
Success Criteria. We are working hard to achieve our goals.
